We've been focused on nailing the online learning experience, but it's time to bring back our immersive, engaging live session! This isn't your typical sit-and-listen workshop—you'll be out of your seat, moving around, and bringing your critical thinking to the forefront. The secret to major gifts is that it's about YOU.

Heads up: For one section we ask you to bring solicitation materials you've received. We give it a "once over" and you'll soon see why. Another involves having cash in your hands. It's really good!

How the two days flow:

The final sessions are selected in conjunction with you to best match your team (board, staff, volunteers, or a combination).
However, we will always cover these core components:
  • Icebreakers to warm up the group and establish teamwork.
  • Open discussion where everyone gets a chance to speak.
  • Scenarios that require participants to get out of their seats to write, think, and sell their ideas.
  • Time to observe and listen to others.
  • An amazing opportunity to be in the shoes of a major donor and instantly understand how they think.
  • A chance to find the red herrings in a case scenario—identifying true major gift prospects.
  • A listening exercise that will astound you with what you haven't been hearing.
  • New communication research data from a seasoned expert and how it applies to your major gifts efforts.
